Our friends and second stage sponsors Small Town Records will have a stand at Butserfest this year and are inviting unsigned bands and budding musicians to bring their demos and cds along to the festival.
Label owner Pete Weeks had this to say – ‘The idea is that there will be a Small Town dropbox at Butserfest. Come to our merch stall and put you/your mates CD in the demo box and tell us a bit about the band. Simple! We’ll try have a listen on a portable cd player during the day. You never know, you might be the latest addition to the family! Small Town is always on the look out for new bands and this is a perfect opportunity for bands to pitch themselves face to face. This is for CD only, sadly we’re unable to listen to songs on your phone/ipod etc…’
He will also be on hand throughout the day to have a chat with you, answer any questions you might have and offer up invaluable advice so make sure you visit their stand on the day.
